This guide will teach you to use Pumpfun Bot V2 to enhance your trading strategy. We’ll show you how to set up and use the bot, but you’ll need to adjust the configuration to find what works best for you and automate buying and selling based on custom settings. We will walk you through the initial setup and configuration to ensure your bot runs smoothly.

Step 1: Configure Your Wallet

  1. Access Bot Settings
Head to the Pumpfun Bot and access the bot settings. Here, you can adjust the parameters to suit your trading strategy.
  2. Generated Wallet Setup
A wallet has been automatically generated for you, and saved directly in your browser’s local storage. This wallet is essential for using the bot and interacting with the Pump.fun platform. make sure to save your Priviate key in a safe place.
  3. Import Your Private Key within Pumpfun Bot Copy your secret key provided. Open your preferred wallet (Phantom or Solflare), go to the import wallet option, and paste your private key there.
  4. Fund your wallet: send at least 0.2 SOL to your new wallet , this will cover your Bot basic features fees, Buy amount, Solana transaction fees. then click on check Sol balance.

Note: even if you restart your browser, or refresh your page your wallet will still linked with the bot, no need to generate a new one every time you refresh the page.

Once you Fund your wallet and Click check Sol Balance Your Buy/ Sell and Filters settings can be displayed and ajusted.

Step 2: Bot Transaction Setup:

Buy Setup:

1. Token Amount

  • This refers to the number of tokens you wish to purchase in a transaction. You can set this value to determine how many tokens the bot will execute transactions for. For example, if you’re targeting a specific quantity of a token, the bot will place orders accordingly. This setting helps control the volume of trades.
  • Recommendation: Start with a small amount to test your bot’s execution, especially in volatile markets. For beginners, using smaller buy amounts can limit potential losses.

2. Max SOL Cost (Slippage):

Behaves like slippage We will spend up to this amount trying to get you the best price possible for the entered token amount. E.g. SO if you set 9999999 SOL here and are trying to buy 0.15 tokens, if you dont get sandwhiched you’ll pay about 0.000000005 SOL

Note: For LP sniping, you may need a higher slippage to ensure the transaction goes through. Setting slippage too low can lead to missed transactions, while setting it too high may result in buying at a higher-than-expected price.

3. Priority Fees:

  • The priority fee is an additional fee paid to expedite your transaction. By paying a higher priority fee, your transaction can be confirmed faster, which is crucial when sniping tokens.
  • Recommendation: Set a moderate priority fee that balances speed and cost. In high-demand markets, consider increasing the fee to secure faster execution. However, in less competitive environments, a lower priority fee might suffice to save on fees. check for the best Jito tips here.

4. Max Held Tokens:

To help you manage your portfolio, you can set a limit on how many unsold tokens you want to hold before the bot stops sniping new tokens. For example, if you set this value to 3, the bot will pause any new purchases once you hold 3 unsold tokens.

Sell Setup:

Note: The bot will initiate a sell if either of the above two conditions is met.

1. Take Profit

  • Sets a target price at which the bot will automatically sell to lock in profits once the token reaches this price.
  • Recommendation: Choose a percentage that aligns with your profit goals (e.g., 20-30%) for better chances of exiting at a favorable price.

2. Sell After Trades:

Timing your sell orders is crucial in crypto trading. Pump.fun Bot allows you to specify how many trades should occur before the bot attempts to sell the tokens you hold. For instance, if you set this to 5, the bot will wait for 5 other trades before initiating a sell order, potentially increasing your sell price.

Recommendation: you’d need to set a higher take profit/ sell after trades triggers because we need around 10-12 seconds between buy and sell because that much is needed for token account to be created after buy, eg once the bot buy a token, it will need more than 12 seconds to be able to sell the token.

Step 3: Safety Settings:

Disable Filters:

Skip filtering and enable the bot to buy every launched tokens, very high risk strategy.

Faster transaction execution:

Faster Transaction Execution feature offers a speed boost by using a dedicated private RPC (Remote Procedure Call) node for an additional 0.05 SOL. This option helps secure quicker and more reliable transaction processing, which can be crucial for high-demand trades, especially during token launches or high-volatility events.

Tips for Optimal Use of Pumpfun Bot

To ensure SOL Sniper Bot operates without interruptions, we recommend setting it up in a stable, dedicated environment. Here are some tips to maximize its performance:

  1. Use a Dedicated VPS: Running the bot on a Virtual Private Server (VPS) ensures it has continuous uptime and won’t be affected by other activities on your computer. A VPS provides a stable, uninterrupted internet connection, essential for avoiding bot downtime due to disconnections or restarts.
  2. Avoid Shared Computer Use: If running on a personal computer, ensure no other tasks are using significant resources or triggering system restarts. Avoid unnecessary software updates or installations while the bot is active.
  3. Stable Internet Connection: Ensure your internet is reliable. Even brief interruptions (such as a WiFi refresh) will stop the bot, so a wired connection or VPS with a strong internet backbone is ideal.
  4. Disable Automatic Updates: Configure the browser hosting the bot to avoid automatic updates and restarts. Operating system updates or network resets can disrupt the bot’s session.

Following these steps helps Pumpfun bot to operate without unexpected stops, allowing it to monitor tokens and react to market conditions continuously and effectively.

We have good error handling, and every error should be visible in the logs. If the bot seems frozen:

  • There might not be many legit tokens launching on Solana at the moment, so wait.
  • Your filters are too strict and might cause the bot to skip many tokens, so wait.
  • If your sell transactions fail and you can’t sell/swap tokens: Liquidity might have been removed (rug pull). Stay safe with better filter configuration.
  • For other issues, create a ticket on Discord.
